 Dr. Debasis Sasmal

It gives me immense pleasure to present the KVK, Namsai in Namsai District under ICAR-NRC on Yak, which has been contributing immensely in technology development through basic and applied farming sector since 26th March,2007 ( Latitude 27.6692 and Longitude 95.8644). Since inception the kendra is studying the existing situation of agriculture and allied sectors going in the district by its own survey

In the easternmost tip of our country lies this enchanting land namely Namsai(also Namsai) district of Arunachal Pradesh which is known for its pristing scenic beauty. Namsai named after the mighty river that meanders across the mountaineous region from Tibet and enters India at DICHU village of KIBITHOO circle of Anjaw district and gushes down to meet the mighty BRAHMAPUTRA in the plains of Assam.
